The Liturgical Year

The Story of God reorients all of life including the way we understand time. The Church calendar follows the arc of God's saving work in Jesus Christ. The year begins in Advent and Christmas, reaches its peak on Easter, then concludes during the long season of Ordinary Time. This rhythm invites Christians to live out the story of God throughout the year.
